![]() ![]() Tested by noodling around with a chopstick when its on and/or visual inspection. Most commonly they are found on the tube sockets (underneath) as the soldering on those was never good apparently. Its basically just an RCA jack x 2 soldered directly to the board. Where the speaker cables connect to the circuit board can often get stressed/cold solder out.Dirty volume pot (especially if its on low volume always).If it stops happening you know its that tube. Tested by swapping them out one by one with a spare tube. Send/Return port for FX loop needs a patch cable owing to corrosion.,.Rectifier tube (damaged from using standby switch on purpose/accidentally).Here's a list of stuff it could be garnered from the various posts on internet forums: Lots of people reporting similar issues online: sound fading out or cutting out completely, only comes back when you bash the strings or turn the volume right up. ![]()
